* What is a DENIER?

A DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the yarn used to make stockings. The lower the DENIER number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the finer and more transparent the stocking. Conversely, the higher the number (40, 70, etc.), the thicker and less skin is visible.
